Hempstead High School will hold its inaugural community homecoming parade. The parade will be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, September 21. The parade will begin at Bobcat Stadium and will end at the Hempstead Gazebo. The event will conclude with a community pep rally. Mayor of Hempstead, Erica Gillum has been selected as the Hempstead High School Grand Marshall for the parade. This year’s theme is Boot the Bulldogs. Everyone is encouraged to wear their best western attire. To participate in the parade please contact Hempstead High School Assistant Principal, Lakesha Morgan at morganl@hempsteadisd.org or 979-826-3331.

Hempstead ISD alumni and friends will join together at the Hempstead ISD Tailgate Party, hosted by the Hempstead Athletic Booster Club, at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, September 23. Before the Bobcats take on the Bulldogs the Hempstead community is invited to enjoy food and fun before the game kickoff. Reunite with old classmates, friends, and families as Hempstead fans prepare for the Homecoming Football Game. We will line the drive behind Bobcat Stadium. Bring the BBQ pits, cornhole, and remember no alcohol. You can reserve your space by contacting Hempstead Athletic Booster club at hempsteadabc@gmail.com.

Show your Bobcat Pride and wear Bobcat colors for the big game. Help cheer on the Hempstead High School Varsity Football Team as they play the Corrigan-Camden High School Bulldogs. The game begins at 7:30 p.m. Adult tickets are $6 and student tickets are $4. Tickets will only be sold at the gate. The only acceptable passes are Golden Bobcat Cards (bit.ly/3Raxytp) and Bobcat Military Cards. These cards can be picked up from the Hempstead ISD Administration Building.
